The Solar Flare Championship is the secondary and second-highest ranking championship awarded to members of the M4G-Nation Green roster.
History[]
With the split of The M4G-Nation to two brands, M4G-Nation Blue drafted then-Galactic Champion Captain Pollution while M4G-Nation Green drafted then-M4G-Nation Champion Ryu, leaving M4G-Nation Green without a midcard level title. The Solar Flare Championship was introduced afterwards, with an accompanying match to crown the inaugural champion. Zangief defeated Space Ghost, Raiden, and The Hulk in a Fatal-4-Way TLC Match to become the first champion.
The championship was declared vacant for the first time on M4G-Nation Green Episode 7 when then-reigning champion Quan Chi deliberately relinquished his title, believing himself to be above the championship. The title was contested in a match later on at the show, with Goku winning the vacant championship.
