Galactic Throwdown was the innagural Pay-Per-View event by the M4G-Nation, that took place on June 24th, 2012. It was the 1st Galactic Throwdown event.

Background[]

The event consisted of 5 matches (3 of which were championship matches), that involved different wrestlers from pre-existing feuds, plots, and storylines, which were played out on the M4G-Nation's daily show. Wrestler's were either portrayed villians or heroes as they followed a series of events, culminating in a match or series of matches.

The predominent feud leading up to Galactic Throwdown was between Inter-Universal Champion Yusuke Urameshi and King over theInter-Universal Championship, in a 20-minute Iron Man match inside a steel cage. King became the number one contender by defeating 5 other superstars in an Elimination Chamber match.

Another feud building up to Galactic Throwdown was between Galactic Champion Jack-6, The Incredible Hulk, and Bojack over the Galactic championship. The feud began when Master Chief defeated Bojack in a 20-minute Iron Man match to become the Galactic Champion, then left the M4G-Nation to wrestle for the M4G-Nation's other show, Shadow Force Wrestling. However, after Master Chief lost the title to The Joker, he and the Joker left Shadow Force Wrestling and the M4G-Nation, vacating the title.  On May 30th, 2012, a 6-man ladder match was held to determine a new Galactic Champion, and Jack-6 was victorious. Jack-6 would then go on to defeat Bojack in a championship match on June 8th, 2012. The Hulk would be entered into this feud after defeating Bojack in an Extreme Rules match on June 13th. After beating Bojack, the Hulk felt that he should be named number one contender. Bojack interupted the Hulk, also wanting a rematch with Jack-6. The M4G-Nation's head commentator and CEO, M4gNitude, then announced a Triple Threat Match for the championship.

Another feud was between M4gnation Tag Team Champions Ash Ketchum and Brock (team Old School) and the team of Dante and Darth Maul for the Tag Team Championship in a 2 out of 3 falls, Falls Count Anywhere match. Dante and Darth Maul became the number one contenders after winning a tag team tournament to name the number one contenders.

Event[]

'Preliminary 'Matches[]

The first match was the 2 out of 3 falls, Falls Count Anywhere match for the Tag Team Championship, which saw Ash Ketchum and Brock defeat Dante and Darth Maul. The match began with Ash and Darth Maul starting off. Darth Maul hit a series of punches, kicks, and German Suplexes, while Ash fought back using several manuvers, including the Ankle Lock. Darth Maul hit a springboard, with both of his legs hitting Ash in the face. The action continued, and each team made several tags. Eventually, steel steps were brought into the ring (this match was no DQ, because of the Falls Count Anywhere stipulation), which Darth Maul used to do some serious damage to Brock, by throwing them on his head. Darth Maul then hit his version of the Stunner on Brock, but only resulting in a near-fall. Darth Maul would then try to attack Ash with a springboard, but Ash moved out of the way, resulting in Darth Maul hitting the outside floor very hard. Darth Maul would then hit Brock in the face with a steel chair, causing Brock to bleed. Brock and Ash would regain control when Brock hit Maul with a double-handed Chokeslam. Team Old School would score the first fall, when Ash hit his finishing move, The Ketchum on Darth Maul, resulting in a pinfall. However, Maul and Dante would gain the second fall, when Dante pinned Brock off his finisher, The Devil Inside. Team Old school would gain the final pinfall when Brock used his finisher, Fissure, on Dante, winning the match, and retaining the Tag Team Titles.

The second match was the debut of the Atom-Weight Division, which saw the Blue Power Ranger defeat Woody in a Tables match. The match saw many springboards, near table crashes, and several finishing moves. Finally, Blue Power Ranger put Woody through a table with a diving senton from the top rope while Woody was on a table in the ring.

Main Event Matches[]

The third match of the night saw Jack-6 retaining the Galactic Championship, defeating The Hulk and Bojack in a Triple Threat match. For nearly 20 minutes, each person came close to victory. During the match, there were near-falls, pin break-ups, double teams, finishing moves (Jack-6's Megaton Punch, Hulk's Hulk Smash, Bojack's Unbound), and steel chair shots. Finally, in the closing moments of the match, Bojack got Jack-6 in a small package, but Jack-6 reversed it at a 1 count with a small package of his own, pinning Bojack to secure the win.

The fourth match of the night saw Darth Vader defeatThor in a singles match with Darth Vader's finisher, the Force Chokeslam.

The fifth and final match of the night saw Yusuke Urameshi defeat King to retain the Inter-Universal Championship in a 20-minute Iron Man Steel Cage match. After several pins, springboards, finishers (Yusuke's Spirit Gun, King's King of the Jungle), Yusuke got the lead over King by one fall, and King could not gain another fall to tie the match up, and Yusuke retained the title when the clock hit zero.

Aftermath[]

Just before the show went off the air, Majin Buu assaulted Yusuke and stole his championship. A feud began between the two, culminating in a Hell In A Cell match at Solar Eclipse (M4gNation's second pay-per-view), with Buu winning the title.
